Max had a really good voice! -- little did I know that 11yrs later, I met another musician of the band, Dennis Armijo then dated his son Dennis Bjornlund.. (may god rest his soul n uncle maxes too). So unfortunate that these two great men passed away. 💔

This is the REAL Band "WAR" The Lowrider Band name is used because of copyright issues or something like that. I've seen Lonnie Jordans War group and they are NOT As Great As These Guys! THE LOWRIDER BAND IS WAR AND THEY ARE GREAT!!!

I hate the fact I was never able to see Larry in concert. This seems to be completely insane due to the fact I’ve actively go to tons of show even having to fly to them.

Whilst everything is true regarding Richard Bean’s grand contribution, never underestimate the capability of the other members. Pablo Tellez is a world class player, the others are also. Just listen to Malo and Dos to really hear what this band was about.
